The first BCM320 class for Spring session brought with it a new topic and therefore a new range of experiences to be had. We were introduced to not just the physical geographical land mass that is Asia but also to the concept of ‘Asia’ as a cultural product or phenomenon and ‘Asia’ as producers of new and exciting ranges multimedia, which we can study and learn more about within a digital realm.
Upon considering the subject title Digital Asia my mind went straight to thoughts of Anime and the TV dating show If You Are The One, this would be because I don’t have any other particular relationship with Asian media, so in light of this am going to treat this semester as a crash course in all things Digital Asia and will attempt to channel this into my posts and required tasks.
